Join us for a Black August workshop on Healing & Mindfulness in partnership with Sisters Unchained!

Come get this healing! Register at bit.ly/HealWorkshop or link in bio ✨🤸🏾‍♀️ Wednesday August 26th!

This Black August, as we continue the struggle for Black freedoms, we center the healing work that will push us and our communities forth.

We all have an inner healer within us. Improve your health, wellbeing, and personal power through your breath, your life-force energy. In this workshop, we will hear from OluDaré of Kiire Wellness, Regina Rocke of Wolf Medicine Magic, and Chris Johnson of Rest In Power Yoga, who will show us breathwork techniques and support us in enhancing our vitality.

Regina (she/they) is a Brooklyn-based former dancer (BFA 2004, MFA 2006) trained and certified as an Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor, 500-hr yoga instructor, and Breathwork healer. They have spent the past several years delving deep into the study of Ayurveda, yoga, and all things witchy and esoteric. They want their clients to feel happy and healthy in their bodies so that a new way of being becomes a sustainable lifestyle.

Chris Johnson (they/them) is CEO & founder of Rest in Power Yoga and Reiki LLC. Their soul’s divine purpose is to nourish the trees that bear the fruits of freedom. They build sacred + radical communities that harness ancestral power, accelerate collective healing, and ignite fearless creative expression. Their practice + teachings leverage yoga, reiki, and meditation as tools for Black liberation and general decolonization. Learn more at Rest in Power Yoga

OluDaré’s (he/him) work focuses on deep breathing through Afro-ancestral movements, songs, and prayers, focusing on the respiratory wellness of African descendants. He believes that teaching Orisha is about healing, empathy, and helping each person to accept, love, and master their individual Ase (power, life force). Above all else, OluDaré heals, nurtures, and cultivates strength within communities and individuals of African Descent.
