From The Uprise Collective on Facebook:
Join The Uprise Collective in collaboration with the National Lawyers Guide in a virtual Know Your Rights workshop covering topics such as protest, what to do if you’ve been detained, de-arrests, and legal recourse for violated rights. Our communities have been protesting for Black liberation and police abolition for over 70 days in Portland. It is vital that we know our rights in order to maintain effectiveness and to care for ourselves & one another.
*This event is free
**ASL interpretation and captioning will be provided*
***Check back on the day of the event for a link to join us.
