11/13 Update from Youth Strike for Our Lives on Instagram:

UPDATE (11/13, 11:23am): This individual did not attend any actions at Laurelhurst but did go to Pioneer Square on the evening of 11/7.
Hi everyone, quick announcement from your organizers at Youth Strike for Our Lives. We appreciate everyone’s love and support over the past couple of weeks while we’ve been non-stop planning! But we’ll be reposting flyers with new event dates and new information very soon. In the meantime, please keep wearing your masks, keep socially distanced, because why? WE KEEP US SAFE. 💜💙💚

[Image description: Rectangular event flyer with green-to-blue gradient background and the following text in black font superimposed: Youth Strike for Our Lives. We have just gotten word that someone from J.U.I.C.E. has tested positive for COVID. They attended the Fridays4Freedom march on Saturday, November 7th, and they have regularly tended to the Red House on Mississippi and Laurelhurst. If you were at any of the above, we encourage you to get tested by Wednesday, 11/18, at the latest. Our coalition’s mission is to fight for Black and Brown folks, and that includes recognizing that COVID disproportionately affects that exact community. With that being said, we will be postponing our week of action until December 5th – December 11th, 2020. We appreciate the support we’ve received from our communities and we hope to see you then. We keep us safe.]
